It took Caramel Cappuccino Films three days to shoot this short film in Los Angeles, California. The idea for the story line was conceived from a common belief from the country of Guinea-Conakry
Producer/Director Mohammed Dionne decided to educate and entertain with the belief some people have about the mystical and powerful qualities that certain dishes have, and that there are special things that women put in foods to change their lives for the better. The main purpose of this movie is to teach its audience about culture and to gain a little bit of knowledge about the belief of the power of food, and to also know that sometimes culture can be manipulative and used as a tool in ethnic conflicts.
