Laughter is coming soon to the ground floor of The Drake, the 32-story art deco building that looms behind the Kimmel Center. On Saturday, January 27th, 2018, comedian Brian Isley, South Jersey’s Funniest Man, will record his first live album, “F*ck It,” during a show produced by Starving Artist Prevention, LLC.

The talented comic, podcast host (NBA Panel) and writer (BoomBoxLife.com) earned his SJ’s funniest title by surpassing 52 fellow comics and jumpstarting his comedy career. Brian’s brand of observational stand-up comedy has garnered a huge buzz in the Philadelphia area as the married father of two paints vivid and hilarious pictures describing his loved ones.

“F*ck It” will be recorded during two performances on January 27th. The first show is at 6 PM and the second at 9 PM. The Drake Room provides an intimate, lounge space with a maximum capacity for seating 70 people. Tickets are $20 and are available on isley.brownpapertickets.com

This is Starving Artist Prevention’s 17th production and first live album recording. The producers are hoping to capture a vibe similar to Richard Pryor’s much respected “Live & Smokin’.” They also plan to provide more than competitive bar prices and quality monthly shows in Rittenhouse.
