On Saturday, February 4, Organizing for America Pennsylvania (OFA PA) volunteers and community leaders will gather at locations across the state to collect signatures to get President Obama’s name on the ballot and to register voters.
Pennsylvania residents interested in signing the petition or registering to vote are encouraged to visit an event in their areas at the designated times. This weekend’s events are also an opportunity for people interested in volunteering to come and learn more about OFA PA’s ongoing efforts to build the strongest grassroots organization possible in the state to re-elect President Obama and democrats up and down the ballot in November.
OFA PA has been organizing in the state since early 2009 and is a state-based, grassroots organization committed to re-electing President Obama and boosting Democrats statewide through voter registration, voter education and field organizing efforts.
